Birthmother's Day

Recently E & J were reading through some adoptive materials and came across Birthmother's Day.  It is celebrated on the Saturday before Mother's day.

Birthmother's Day was first celebrated in Seattle Washington in 1990 in order to educate the public on adoption and also to honor and remember the important role of the birthmother and the difficult and unselfish decisions that they made.

On this day E & J want to say thank you.  TJ is truly a gift from God for which they will be forever grateful.

    Thank you both very much for the thoughts and the beautiful pictures! And E...Happy Mother's Day, I hope you both had a wonderful day, the first of many mother's day's to come! So how's TJ doing? Is parenting everything you both hope for and more? Well I cant wait to see more pics and again Happy 1st Mother's Day E and god bless!

    Dear M,
    Thank you, I had a wonderful mother's day! Being a parent is everything and more, J and I never knew we could love someone so much. He started really smiling about two weeks ago and it melts my heart every time! Love to you.
