Tschüß

TJ has been going to a Parent's Day Out, two days a week, in the mornings at a new preschool in Atlanta (started this year) at our church. He absolutely loves interacting and playing with the other children.

We can not say enough great things about the PDO, the teachers, and that it is dual language!

Yesterday was the end of the year party to say "tschüß" (bye!)

TJ can't wait for August!

  1. Dear E, J & TJ, He is so alert to this surroundings & seems to interact beautifully with his peers including adults. I have a question, has TJ started to talk yet? Was wondered if he has said Mommy or Daddy or any other words, especially "no" which seems to be a favorite word for children because they hear it so much. At least mine did. Love & God Bless. R & B

  2. Hello R & B,
Funny I woke up this morning thinking that we have never written in the blog about TJ talking! His first word was "MumMum" for Mommy (about a month ago), and now he says "Da" for Daddy. He also says dog, bubble, and ball - this three favorite things! He hasn't started saying "no" yet, but when he is about to do something that he knows is naughty we will turn and smile at you and shake his head no - then turn around and do the naughty thing (which is usually biting Samson's tail!).

  3. Thank you for your response. It's great to know that TJ is talking. We can visualize the look on his face as he does something he knows he shouldn't do. We have been busy packing, going back to CT. We have been in FL for 4 months + and now it's time to go back home. Good bless you all. Love R and B

  5. Hi My parents and I are all back in CT now. We flew in yesterday. My Walt drove the car back for them. Its to bad we didn't know your plans earlier it would have been wonderful to meet. I have loved all these wonderful pictures of TJ. Its so great to know that he is talking and expressing himself in such a cute way. I would love to see a video of that. Quick question what color is TJ's hair, sometimes it looks red. other times brown M & I are debating this LOL . God bless you all and have a great time in Hilton Head. L

  6. The funny thing about TJ's hair is that we swear it looks different every day! It is medium brown, but it does have some red undertones (and in a lot of pictures you can really see that!). His hair texture also really changes - from super tight curls, softer loose curls, or super poofy!
