Half Birthday - 6 Months!

Happy Half Birthday TJ!

Likes: Crawling, Standing, Banana, Avocados, Carrots, Watermelon, Music (especially playing his own music at KinderMusik!)

Dislikes: Losing his balance and going to sleep!

Crawling was so two weeks ago

Standing is the cool thing to do,

but "scary baby voice" is still pretty popular too,

as is jumping...

and getting ready for Fall!

Big News!

Almost a full crawl!

And we have teeth!

TJ's Five Month Birthday was actually yesterday, but E & J were a little slow getting pictures posted!

Yup, still a happy guy!

One, two, three, four, five toes on the left and the right! 

Baby genius that he is, TJ has been practicing his counting skills.

Likes: Eating his toes, attempting to crawl, playing with his jingle bell shaker (by far his favorite toy)

Dislikes: Getting frustrated while attempting to crawl

Unsure: Eating sweet potatoes!

TJ is SO close to crawling.  His attempts so far have seen him scoot along the floor, but 'real' crawling hasn't happened yet.  E and J are both excited and frightened.

TJ with his favourite toy, the bell shaker.  Ever the budding musician, TJ is the star student of his Kindermusik class.  He continues to practice on a daily basis.  

To celebrate his 5th month birthday TJ ate his first non formula food, sweet potatoes! TJ was not sure how he felt about them!

Last weekend we went to Chattanooga to celebrate J's birthday weekend!

TJ got to see Bubbe and Granddaddy, and all his favorite Chattanooga people (aunts, uncles, cousins and godparents!) at J's birthday dinner!

But TJ's favourite part of the whole trip (aside from getting out of the carseat) was when he got to ride on another carousel!!! 

TJ was very patient while waiting in line with Granddaddy, but he was ready to ride!

Today was the court date to finalize TJ's adoption.  E & J can not say enough wonderful things about our attorney Jodi Rutstein with Flordia Adoption Law Group and the Social Worker, Jane,  who did our post placement visits for the past three months with Options 4 Adoption in Georgia.  We have had a wonderful experience with these two organizations and highly recommend them to anybody looking into adoption.

TJ wanted to 'dress up' for the big day and wear his bowtie.
