Back to School

The Sunday before school started our church had blessing of the backpacks.
TJ was very excited by his new dinosaur book bag that his Bubbe picked out.

TJ has also started a new trend of wearing a band aid on his forehead, because of teeny tiny scratch that very dramatically needed a band aid for two weeks!

First Day of School!

Family Day

Family Day!!!
It is hard to believe that this is our third family day! In 2013, E&J were so nervous that day, going to the lawyers office to make everything official!  Not knowing what would be happening E&J bought way too many doughnuts to share with the lawyers and employees. Then there were only two people there that morning (not including the three of us)!

In honor, of the first Family Day, TJ needed a doughnut!

Later we had lunch at TJ's favorite Italian restaurant

E & J let TJ pick the afternoon activity - he wanted to go play with the lego and train table at our Barnes and Noble. He has become quite a fan of going there to play this summer (they also have story times and fun activities)

July

July is going by so fast!

Despite this picture - TJ greatly enjoyed a performance of "Click, Clack, Moo" at the Puppetry Center!

TJ is taking swimming lessons again this summer and music class. TJ enjoys blowing bubbles and jumping into the water. He doesn't enjoy swimming/floating on his back!

TJ has recently decided that he wants "ice cream" because of a song he likes to listen to about ice cream. However, he is not a fan of cold things - so TJ's gets his "ice cream cones" without ice cream (but you can't go wrong with chocolate and sprinkles)!

TJ and E met some of TJ's friends from preschool over the summer at the pool! He was very excited to see his friends.

TJ has been riding his Plasma Car to the local Farmer's Market, he is a very serious driver.

A trip to LegoLand where TJ watched a 4D movie where it "rained" inside!

TJ decided we could trim his toenails, if J then painted them purple. He does not like to have his nails cut, but was very excited about them being purple.

More "ice cream" time!

E and J keep encouraging TJ to say "fire truck" because its quite funny to hear his version of "fire truck"

June Adventures

TJ has been learning to use the potty and is doing very well with it! After going to the potty TJ washes his hands and sings ABC to make sure its a good handwash.

"La Bamba" is TJ's new favorite song - we listen to is several times a day.

One day coming home from the park, TJ caught a lizard in the grass, by his head. The lizard was very fast but TJ was faster! E had to convince TJ that lizards like to run free and not come inside.

Family Photos

When TJ turned one year old, we did a family photo shoot and  E&J decided it would be fun to make it a yearly thing and we just loved the photographer (one of E's former students). It was hard to choose which we liked the best!
